The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Email addresses and also optionally names for institutions for the Bristol Investment Fund’s Newsletter with consent. As Well as collecting CV’s and professional information including degree programmes from applicants that can all be published on the website to increase the profile of applicants.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• For access to our Newsletter and for applicants to increase their profiles.

We use the information that you have given us in order to send you copies of our informative Newsletters and to increase applicant profiles

We will not share this information with any third party.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on an encrypted Microsoft Excel Document.

We keep for 5 years and at the September of the 5th Year we will then dispose your information by deleting information from documents and deleting previous copies to ensure data is no longer kept past needed.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
